Original abstract

Transmutation is a technology that insures nuclear reactions of minority actinides and fission products from the spent nuclear fuel, whereat waste will be only short term or stable isotopes, that don't cause technically and safety not manageable problems from the viewpoint of storage. At the same time comes by transmutation to thermal energy release, which can be transformed into electrical power.

Czech abstract

Příspěvek popisuje terciární okruhy nových typů transmutačních jaderných elektráren, které mohou sloužit pro likvidaci vyhořelého jaderného paliva. Všímá si především odlišností tepelných oběhů s parními a plynovými turbinami v souvislosti s transmutačními technologiemi a vyvedením tepelného výkonu z reaktoru zejména typu ADTT.
