Original abstract
This work presents different possibilities of thermal processing of waste as alternative fuel. Thermal processing of waste does not mean only its disposal, it is also energy utilization (waste-to-energy). Various types of waste can be classified as a renewable source of energy (e.g. sewage sludge, wood pulp). It is necessary to find eligible ways how to utilize different types of wastes to increase benefit from this approach as much as possible. Several concrete processes are shown.
