Original abstract

This paper is concerned with the solution to a statistical problem of finding the two-dimensional simultaneous discrete probability distribution of a discrete random vector by minimizing the Hellinger distance and Shannon pseudo-distance with given constraints. The constraints are chosen in a general form using suitable functions linear in unknown probabilities. An economic example is used to illustrate the theoretical results.

This paper is concerned with the solution to a statistical problem of finding the two-dimensional simultaneous discrete probability distribution of a discrete random vector by minimizing the Hellinger distance and Shannon pseudo-distance with given constraints. The constraints are chosen in a general form using suitable functions linear in unknown probabilities. An economic example is used to illustrate the theoretical results. Tento článek je zaměřen na řešení statistického problému nalezení diskrétního dvourozměrného rozdělení pravděpodobnosti minimalizací hellingerovy vzdálenosti a Shannonovy pseudovzdálenosti s danými omezeními. Teoretické výsledky ilustruje ekonomický příklad.
