Original abstract
This contribution describes the application of Canny detector algorithm and Statistical Method and Zero Passage Operator for the edge detection in images. The principle and algorithm has been used in an application that was developed at Brno University of Technology and has been programmed in the MS Visual C++ environment.

Příspěvek popisuje aplikaci Canny detektoru, statistických metod a operátoru průchodu nulou pro detekci hran v obraze. Tyto metody a algortimy byly použity v aplikaci, která byla naprogramována v prostředí MS Visual C++ na VUT v Brně.
