Quality & Reliability & Safety Assurance of Production Machines with the aid of MQD Method

Intensive development of new modern technologies in the field of production machines and introduction of ISO 9000:2000, which require consistent orientation towards the customers´ needs and process approach to all activities including design, have caused the need to look for the methods of preventive quality assurance applicable in this field. One of the methods of preventive quality assurance – Quality, Safety and Organisational Function Deployment (QSOFD) has been worked out in order to achieve quality assurance in the pre-production stages of the development of production machines. QSOFD became the foundation stone of the presently developed method called Meta-Quality Deployment (MQD). This method facilitates assurance of quality, reliability and safety of the developed machines and is based on the principles of system approach, concurrent engineering, integrated product development and Life Cycle Engineering. This article presents the applicability of these new-generation methods of preventive quality assurance – MQD and QSOFD in the development and design of such production machines that would meet not only the customers´ requirements, but also all the legal requirements with special focus on reliability and safety.

Intenzivní rozvoj nových moderních technologií v oblasti výrobních strojů a zavedení norem ISO řady 9000:2000 vyžadující důslednou orientaci na požadavky zákazníků a procesní přístup při všech činnostech, včetně konstrukce, vedl k analýze využití metod preventivního zabezpečování jakosti při vývoji a konstrukci výrobních strojů. Pro zabezpečování jakosti v předvýrobních etapách vzniku nového výrobního stroje byla již vyvinuta metoda preventivního zabezpečování jakosti nazvaná Quality, Safety and Organisational Function Deployment (QSOFD), která se stala základním kamenem nyní vyvíjené metody s názvem Meta-Quality Deployment (MQD). Tato metoda se věnuje zabezpečování jakosti, spolehlivosti a bezpečnosti vyvíjených strojů a je založena na principu systémového přístupu, paralelního inženýrství, integrovaného vývoje výrobků a Life Cycle Engineeringu.V tomto článku je presentováno využití těchto metod preventivního zabezpečování jakosti nové generace – QSOFD a MQD, při vývoji a konstrukci takových výrobních strojů, které by kromě požadavků zákazníků splňovaly i všechny ostatní zákonné požadavky, s důrazem na jejich spolehlivost a bezpečnost.
