Střihadlo slouží pro testování řeivosti břitů pro vlákna s průměrem nad 0,5 mm – zvláště nylonových, kevlarových, polyaramidových, silonových atd. pomocí žiletkových čepelí. Výhodou je automatický chod, záznam střižné síly a počtu střihaných segmentů.

English abstract

The cutter is used to test the grindiness of cutting edges for fibers with a diameter over 0.5 mm – especially nylon, Kevlar, polyaramid, silon, etc. using razor blades. The advantage is automatic operation, recording of shear force and number of cut segments.
