The report describes detection procedures for estimation of detection areas for UGW monitoring method. Detection areas are evaluated on composite panels using FE simulations utilizing MSC.Patran/MSC.Dytran. Different damage types were modelled (hole, delamination, sharp crack) for two different layering options (unidirectional and quasi-isotropic).
