Kryt je navržen pro ochranu kamery, objektivu a řídící jednotky před rizikovými faktory těžkého průmyslového provozu. Především se jedná o ochranu proti zvýšeným teplotám (do 200 °C) a ochranu proti nečistotám. Chlazení je řešeno pomocí Ranque-Hilshovy vírové trubice. Vírová trubice upravuje stlačený vzduch do dvou vzduchových proudů, jeden horký a druhý studený. Elekronika uvnitř krytu zajišťuje řízení přívodního vzduchu na základě aktuální teploty a požadavků uživatele. Aktivní regulace zajišťuje konstatní teplotu uvnitř krytu při změnách vnějších teplot, což je nezbytné pro zachování dlouhodobé kalibrace kamery (vnitřní parametry kamemry a objektivu se nemění). Řídící minipočítač umístěný uvnitř krytu zajišťuje odesílání snímků a aktuálních informací o teplotách vně a uvnitř krytu do externího počítače pomocí wifi signálu. Uživatel může nastavovat optimální teplotu a parmetry kamery vzdáleně.

Active cooling control ensures a constant temperature inside the enclosure, which is essential for keeping the camera constantly calibrated (stable internal camera and lens parameters). Cooling is done using the Ranque-Hilsh vortex tube. The vortex tube adjusts compressed air into two air streams, one hot and the other cold. The electronics inside the housing provide control of the intake air and thus regulates the temperature. Active regulation ensures a constant temperature inside the enclosure when changing outside temperatures, which is necessary to maintain the camera's long-term calibration (internal parameters of the camera and the lens do not change). The pocket computer real-time transfers images and information obout temerature inside and outside the housing to an external computer using a wifi signal. The user can adjust optimum teperature and camera parameters remotely.
