Original abstract
The vocal folds are the organ producing human voice. The literature presents several models of the vocal folds function, still none of them offers a consistent and definite explanation of their function. Most authors base their model constructions on Bernoulli´ effect in which the driving force of the vocal folds is the air underpressure during its passage through the narrowed glottis. Due to the numerous weak points found in the principles as shortly defined above there has been a new principle defined and developed, preliminary called „compressed air bubbles“, in short „bubbles“. The paper focuses on this new functional model of generating loud vowels. The finite-element model is used for evaluation and confirmation of the “bubbles” principle.
Czech abstract
U výše zjednodušeně uvedené verze funkce hlasivek hraje důležitou funkci a roli samotný proudící vzduch a jeho proměnné parametry (tlak, rychlost, hmotnost).
