Original abstract

This article is focused on the design of a large combustion chamber for optical testing of nozzles of heavy-duty diesel engines with high-speed camera. This chamber must be optimized both in terms of optical parameters (uniformity of lightening, light flux), and in terms of safety (prevention of ignition of diesel fuel inside the chamber).
