Original abstract

Wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) is an unconventional technology of machining that applies physical principles to material removal. The morphology of WEDM surface is characterized by a great number of craters caused by electrical discharges occurring during the process of cutting. The study deals with the evaluation of surface morphology of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V after WEDM as well as total height of profile Rt by means of mathematical and statistical techniques of fitting (estimation) of discrete probability distributions using pseudoquasi-norms under side moment conditions. Here, the new Freeman-Tukey pseudoquasi-norm is presented, the characteristics of which are based on an already studied term of ´quasi-norm´.

Elektroerozivní drátové řezání (WEDM) je nekonvenční technologie obrábění, která využívá k úběru materiálu fyzikálních principů. Morfologie elektroerozivně obrobeného povrchu se vyznačuje velkým množstvím kráterů způsobených elektrojiskrovými výboji vznikajících v průběhu řezného procesu. Studie se zabývá vyhodnocením morfologie povrchu titanové slitiny Ti-6Al-4V po WEDM a celkové výšky profilu Rt matematicko-statistickými metodami fitování (odhadu) diskrétních rozdělení pravděpodobnosti pomocí pseudokvazinorem za vedlejších momentových podmínek. Je zde předložena nová Freeman-Tukyho pseudokvazinorma, jejiž charakteristika vychází z dříve studovaného pojmu kvazinormy.
