Original abstract
Turbocharging is a growing technology emerging in ever broader segment of the internal combustion engines market. Whereas earlier it used to be mainly the domain of compression ignited engines, current course of development shows a rapid increase in the share of turbocharged spark ignited engines too. What had been regarded out of the scope before, now raises the attention of manufacturers. A perfect example of that is exactly the turbocharging of a spark ignited single cylinder engine.
