Original abstract

The purpose of the paper is to present and solve a specific stochastic program involving differential equation based constraints. The uncertain parameters are modeled by an individual scenario and the aforementioned constraints are originally modeled by discretization using a finite element method. Therefore, the derived solvable model is a large scale deterministic program that is solved by the GAMS modeling tool with the CONOPT nonlinear programming solver and results are evaluated and compared.

Czech abstract

Účelem tohoto článku je prezentovat a řešit konkrétní stochastický program zahrnující diferenciální rovnice v omezeních. Neurčité parametry jsou modelovány scénáři a výše uvedená omezení jsou do modelu zahrnuta po diskretizaci metodou konečných prvků. Odvozené model je rozsáhlý deterministický program, který je řešen v GAMSu s CONOPTem pro nelineární programování. Dosažené výsledky jsou vyhodnoceny a porovnány.
