Original abstract

This article deals with the issue of designing a computational model of tire using discrete element method, applied at solving tasks in terramechanics, particularly contact tasks between wheel and soil. In particular, the focus is on evaluating the application of this method and description of the generated model. The paper also presents the results of a simple task, in which rolling and bouncing of tire wheel on rigid base is simulated.

Tento článek se zabývá problematikou návrhu výpočtového modelu pneumatiky s použitím metody diskrétních prvků v aplikaci na řešení úloh v terramechanice, zejména kontaktní úlohy mezi kolem a podložím.

English abstract

This article deals with the issue of designing a computational model of tire using discrete element method, applied at solving tasks in terramechanics, particularly contact tasks between wheel and soil.
