Original abstract

Combustion of the solid fuel in the burner is an important issue when discussing the CFD simulation of combustion process in boiler. In the present work is employed a simplified method for modeling the bed, which is based on heat and mass balances in order to simplify the simulation of combustion in pellet boiler. The combustion model for solid fuel in a burner is created for the purpose of boiler simulations. Such approach does not require a detailed bed model of fired solid fuel. A simple model of the bed can be very useful for designers and engineers of automatic boilers. The described approach to modeling the combustion process in a burner helps to shorten the calculation time and simplify the model of pellet combustion in various types of automatic boilers for households.

Czech abstract

Spalování tuhého paliva v hořáku je důležitou otázkou při diskusi o simulaci CFD spalovacího procesu v peletkovém kotli. V této práci se používá zjednodušený způsob pro modelování lože, který je založen na tepelné a hmotnostní bilanci, s cílem zjednodušit simulaci spalováním v kotli. Model spalování na tuhá paliva v hořáku je vytvořen za účelem simulace kotle. Takový přístup nevyžaduje podrobný model spalování tuhého paliva v sypaném loži. Jednoduchý model lože může být velmi užitečný pro konstruktéry automatických kotlů. Popsaný přístup k modelování procesu spalování v hořáku pomáhá zkrátit dobu výpočtu a zjednodušit model spalování peletek v různých typech automatických kotlů pro domácnosti.
