Original abstract
Optimal setting of cross roll straightening machine for given input parameters of straightened bars is still a difficult problem. Numerical simulation of the process and optimization of its parameters with standard FE codes lead to a time-consuming procedure. In the paper we present an efficient algorithm based on Eulerian description of material flow through the straightening machine. Substantial speed-up of the new algorithm is documented and the results are compared with both independent computations and experimental measurements.

Optimální nastavení stroje pro kosoúhlé rovnání pro danou sadu vstupních parametrů rovnané tyče je stále složitý problém. Numerické simulace procesu a optimalizace jeho parametrů pomocí standardního MKP kódu vede k časově náročné proceduře. V tomto článku prezentujeme efektivní algoritmus založený na Eulerovském popisu toku materiálu skrz rovnací stroj. Je dokumentováno podstatné zrychlení novým algoritmem a výsledky jsou srovnány spolu s nezávislými výpočty a experimentálním měřením.
