Original abstract
Smoke visualization is the method which aims to obtain primary, especially qualitative information about the flow field. One of the visualization outputs is a plane cut of the flow (image). It is necessary to separate the flow region from the background with image segmentation because of information about its geometry. After this operation, the flow border points are detected.

Kouřová vizualizace je je metoda, jejímž cílem je získat prvotní, zejména kvalitativní informace o proudovém poli. Jedním z výstupů vizualizace je rovina řezu proudu (snímek). Pro informace o geometrii proudu je nutné separovat oblast proudového pole od pozadí prostřednictvím obrazové segmentace. Po provedení této oprace jsou hraniční body proudu detekovány.
