Zařízení slouží ke zlepšení povrchu velivých elementů (soudečků) na úroveň potřebnout pro měření tloušťky mazacího filmu v EHD kontaktu pomocí optické interferometrie. Vlastnosti povrchu po broušení, což je nejčastější mechanismus výroby, jsou pro tento účel nedostačující. Toto zařízení dokáže zlepšit drsnost povrchu na hodnoty kolem Ra=0.01 mikrometrů.
English abstract
An apparatus is design for lapping surfaces of a spherical rollers to a level necessary for measuring lubricant film thickness between the spherical roller and a glass disc with use of a chromatic interferometry. Surface properties after grinding are not sufficient for the purpose. The apparatus can improve surface roughness to the values around Ra=0.01 micrometers.
