Technické řešení se týká optického tribometru, ve kterém se v komoře s regulovatelným tlakem a teplotou v zorném poli mikroskopu odvaluje ocelová kulička po spodní straně skleněného disku. Hlavním účelem přístroje je zjišťování tribologických vlastností chladících médií, tedy zkapalněných plynů, a jejich směsí s běžnými mazivy. Zařízení umožňuje měření tloušťky mazací vrstvy, vznikající v kontaktu mezi diskem a kuličkou, v řádů nanometrů pomocí optické interferenční metody.
English abstract
The technical solution of optical tribometer consists of a chamber with adjustable pressure and temperature. Inside the chamber steel ball rolls on the lower side of the glass disc while forming point contact. This contact is observed by optical microscope. The main purpose of the device is to study tribological properties of coolants (in general liquefied gases) and mixtures of coolants with conventional lubricants. Device allows measurement lubricating layer film thickness, formed in the contact between the disc and ball, in the nanometer range using optical interference methods.
