Cooling of working rolls in an important proces in the hot rolling technology. The optimal cooling of rools should be designed with respect to two aspects. the firs is the wearning of a roll where high should be decreases the durability of the roll surface. The second aspect is a thermal deformation of roll.

Chlazení pracovních válců je podstatnou součástí procesu válcování za tepla. Při navrhování optimálního chlazení válců je duležité brát na vědomí dva aspekty. První je opotřebení válců v důsledku výsokých teplot, které snižují odolnost povrchu válce. Druhým aspektem jsou tepelné deformace válce.
