Original abstract

Viscous dampers are widely used to ensure seismic resistance of pipelines and equipment in nuclear power plants. Damping characteristics of these dampers are nonlinearly frequency dependent and thus causing complications in computational modeling of seismic response.

Czech abstract

Viskózní tlumiče jsou široce používány k zajištění seizmické odolnosti potrubí a zařízení jaderných elektráren. Tlumící vlastnosti těchto tlumičů jsou nelineárně frekvenčně závislé a což způsobuje komplikace v oblasti počítačové modelování seismické odezvy.

English abstract
