Original abstract
The paper describes some procedures and practical results of solution of the project CONMOD, which represents an important contribution to optimization of technology of continuous casting of steel for assurance of high productivity, minimisation of production costs, simultaneus enhancement of quality of continuously cast slabs and minimisation of occurence of defect. The results of solution will be hopefully applicable also to other classes of steels, including special steels, as well as to other CCMs and other shapes of continuously cast ingots.

Příspěvek popisuje proceduru a praktické výsledky projektu CONMOD, které představují významný přínos pro optimalizaci technologie kontilití ocelí pro zajištění vysoké produktivity, minimalizaci nákladů a vzniklých defektů. Výsledky jsou použitelné i pro jiné druhy ocelí včetně ocelí speciálních i pro jiné stroje kontilití a jiné tvary odlévaných ingotů.
