Original abstract

This project focuses on study of shape and deformation of the cooled steel plates and should lead to better flatness of final products. Heat transfer is strongly temperature dependent. Colder head, tail, and edges are cooled faster with the same cooling conditions than center of plate. Cooling non- homogeneity on the plate edges where water also flows in different way than on the plate center should be eliminated.

Czech abstract

Tento projekt je zaměřen na studium tvaru a deformace chlazených ocelových plechů a měl by vést k lepší rovinnosti hotových výrobků. Přenos tepla je silně závislý na povrchové teplotě chlazeného materiálu. Chladnější okraje jsou chlazeny rychleji za stejných podmínek chlazení, než střed desky. Nehomogenita chlazení na okrajích desky, kde voda odtéká, by měla být odstraněna.
