The main purpose of this project is suggestion how to decrease the temperature drop during continuous rolling process which includes finishing scale breaker and finishing mills. To analyze heat losses during the rolling process numerical simulation of the strip cooling process was done. Boundary conditions are necessary for this simulation. These conditions were obtained from laboratory measurements. Cooling efficiency of work rolls was also examined.

Hlavním cílem tohoto projektu je návrh, jak snížit pokles teploty při kontinuálním procesu válcování, který zahrnuje odkujovací sekci a válcovací stolice. Pro analýzu tepelných ztrát během válcování byly provedeny numerické simulace. Pro tuto simulaci jsou nezbytné okrajové podmínky., které byly získány z laboratorních měření. Účinnost chlazení pracovních válců byla také zkoumána.
