Original abstract
EUCOR is not only resistant to wear but also to extremely high temperatures. The solidification and cooling of this ceramic material in a non metalic mold is a very complicated problem of heat and mass transfer with a phase and structure change. The temperature field was investigated on a block casting. The comparision of calculated and measurered temperatures is very satisfactory.

EUCOR je nejen odolný proti otěru, ale i proti vysokým teplotám. Tuhnutí a chladnutí tohoto keramického materiálu v nekovové formě je velmi komplikovaný problém přenosu tepla a hmoty při fázových a strukturálních změnách. Teplotní pole bylo zkoumáno na blokovém odlitku. Srovnání výpočtů s výsledky měření jsou velmi uspokojivé.
