Original abstract
Restrained warping of thinwalled beams is caused by discontinuity of their geometry, loading, or by built-in cross section at the end of beam. These situations give rise to secondary stress, which can have a substantial influence on the safety of the structure. Evaluation of this stress and its distribution along the beam length is the subject of this paper.
