The Institute of Aerospace Engineering has the possibility of flight tests – especially for aircraft in the development and production of which it participated.
One of them was the Stream Turbo aircraft. It is a composite two-seat low-flying aircraft with a seating arrangement behind with retractable nose gear. The aircraft is equipped with a TP 100 turboprop engine. The maximum take-off weight of the aircraft is 800 kg. More information you can find here.
The staff at the Institute of Aerospace Engineering worked on the technical solutions, analyses and tests and succeeded: the aircraft took off and passed the flight tests.
