Diploma Project (M-KSB)

FSI-XD7 Acad. year: 2025/2026 Summer semester

The course focuses on guiding students in their research activities, studying the literature for their thesis and applying the principles of professional writing. Emphasis is placed on independent student work. Project topics from industry practice are welcome.

Knowledge from previous studies is assumed.

Condition for granting credit:

1. Regular consultation with the supervisor (at least once a month).
2. Submission of the diploma thesis according to the deadlines specified in the e-learning.
3. Submission of the final version of the diploma thesis.

Aims

The aim of the course is to enable the student to complete and submit the thesis properly and on time.
The student will learn the basic rules of the process of solving engineering problems, gain basic experience in preparing a written report on the solution of an engineering problem.

Syllabus

There are no regular classes within the course. The course is designed for independent work of students on a diploma thesis at home or in the laboratories of FME.
