Aims
The aim of the course is to design the industrial design of a medium-sized product (according to the bachelor's thesis) which will reflect the experience gained during the previous study of industrial design. The aim is also to examine the level of knowledge and skills gained so far in digital design.
The student acquires:
- The ability to elaborate a complex design of a medium difficulty, including the presentation of the achieved results.
- The ability to analyze the problem from the point of view of functional, aesthetic and technical aspects.
- The ability to determine the mutual relations of human-machine-environment system.

Syllabus
– Specification of the assignment (design of industrial tools, tools or equipment).
- Analysis, verification of documents, information.
- Preparatory drawings, sketches and variants.
- Work on design solutions, selection (consultation).
- Completion of drawings, alternatively conceptual model for verification.
- Elaboration of drawings in given scale.
- Selection of final proposals.
- Visualization, drafting of the proposals into the resulting posters. preparation for the creation of a physical model in given scale.
- Visualization, completion of drawing documentation in given scale, its inclusion in the text part of the project (accompanying reports).
- Physical model – design mock-up.
- Making a physical model in given scale.
- Submission of a complete bachelor project.
Supervision of Bachelor’s thesis

1. Specification of the topic according to the assignment of the thesis and the instructions of the supervisor;
2. List of existing resources;
3. Sketches of variants – consultation;
4. Sketches of variants – consultation;
5. 3D models of variants – consultation;

7. Selection of final design – consultation;
8. Final variant – shape correction, details, ergonomics;
9. Final variant – color, graphics;
