Semestral Project I

FSI-0F1 Acad. year: 2021/2022 Summer semester

The subject is dedicated to controlled and supervised students’ work on individual theoretical- and/or experimental project and its final report on the problem solution.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student can familiarize with a systematic work on solving of a given problem and on its final report with achieved results.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in physics and mathematics on the level of corresponding university courses.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

A classified credit will be given by a supervisor after showing a brief final report on the problem solution.

Aims

The aim of the subject consists in the students’ opportunity to participate on projects within scientific groups and in the preparation of achieved results for publication.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Consultations with supervisor are optional after agreement between both the student and the supervisor.

Syllabus

The training proceeds according to individual possibilities of the supervisor and the student and to agreed time schedule. Particular student’s work topic is specified on the start of semester. The training is finished by committing a brief final report on achieved results.
