Diploma Project (M-AIR)

FSI-VD9 Acad. year: 2021/2022 Summer semester

The course enables students to solve problems related to their diploma theses under the professional guidance of tutors. The emphasis is placed on independent work and development of students' skills and abilities to apply constructively their knowledge acquired in the course of their studies.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will be able to solve independently complex problems using professional literature.

Prerequisites

Contents of the course results from diploma thesis assignment.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Supervised student's work on master's thesis.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Course-unit credit is conditional on submitting written projects worked out according to the instructions of project leaders and on the defence of the projects.

Aims

The aim of the course is to develop students' skills and to improve their abilities to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the course of their studies. The will master the methodology and principles necessary for solving tasks related to working out their diploma theses.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at seminars is checked by means of work on the projects.

Syllabus

1. Introduction to particular projects given.
2.-11. Working out the assigned projects according to the instructions of the project leader.
12.-13. The defence of results of the work on projects. Course-unit credit awarding.
