Diploma Project (M-STL)

FSI-OD5 Acad. year: 2021/2022 Summer semester

Students will learn a systematic approach to realization of the diploma project, project content, structure and format and the way of the diploma project presentation.

Project specifications from industrial companies are appreciated.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Characteristics and division of scientific works. Characteristics of a diploma project. Approaches and methods of problem solving. Factual side of the diploma project. Formal and language side of the diploma project. Presentation of the diploma project.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of aircraft designing.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Supervised student's work on master's thesis.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Individual interview with a student about his/her own diploma project.

Aims

The goal is to help students elaborate and present their diploma projects at a high professional level. They will be familiarized with methodology and technology of scientific research, the realization of literature retrievals, content and formal requirements for the diploma project.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Presence is needed on first exercise.
