The three days of July, from 8 to 10 July 2024, were full of joy and perhaps even a little nostalgia for nearly seven hundred young graduates of FME. They received their diplomas in the Faculty auditorium during the graduation ceremony and – especially in the case of fresh engineers – came to close one of the important chapters of their lives.
In a festive spirit, in the presence of family, friends, representatives of the academic community and faculty management, 694 fresh bachelor's and master's degree holders took the oath and received their diplomas. For many, it was an emotional moment that capped off years of their study efforts.
The Rector's Prize, the Dean's Prize and the Industrial Enterprise Prize were also presented for outstanding academic achievements or final theses. An overview of the Rector's Awards and Dean's Awards can be found here. You can read more about the Industrial Enterprise Awards in the article here.
Two graduates were also nominated for special awards:
- Ing. Michaela Hošková is nominated for the Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for outstanding students and graduates
- Bc. Tomáš Janoušek is nominated for the Josef Hlávka Award for the best students and graduates of universities
We would like to congratulate all our graduates on their successful completion of their studies and wish them good luck and success in their professional and personal lives. We would also like to thank them for choosing the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the BUT for their studies. The doors of your alma mater are always open to you!
