This year, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering joined the programme of one of the largest and most famous cultural events in the country, the Colours of Ostrava music festival, for the first time.

As part of the multidisciplinary discussion forum Meltingpot, the main topics of which were health, longevity and biohacking, Professor Martin Hartl from the Institute of Machine and Industrial Design spoke at the Envision Stage in the industrial area of Dolní Vítkovice on Friday 19 July. The BUT zone was presented in the accompanying programme by the faculty student teams Chicken Wings, TU Brno Racing Team and StrojLAB.
