Students and graduates of industrial design of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology are to exhibit their work at Designblok. This Prague international festival is the largest exhibition of design and fashion in Central and Eastern Europe. The exhibition of FME students will be on display from 4 to 8 October in Prague's Trade Fair Palace.

Students and graduates of the Department of Industrial Design were given a unique opportunity to show their work at Designblok in the Openstudio exhibition space of the Trade Fair Palace. Their exhibition shows the complete design journey, which is often overlooked: starting with the customer's wishes, designers trying to understand the issue through research, then depicting their ideas in sketches and refining them in 3D models. Some paths become dead ends, while others lead to innovative ideas. In the case of FME students and graduates, the journey ends with their final theses.

The five-day Designblok festival presents the latest products from more than two hundred independent designers, studios and established brands. Every year, the show attracts forty thousand visitors from the ranks of designers, curators, buyers, architects, interior designers, journalists and design lovers.
