On Friday, September 15, matriculation of students in the first year of bachelor's studies took place in the faculty auditorium. With this ceremony, the students were formally accepted as members of the academic community.

The meeting included speeches from the members of the faculty management – vice-deans and a representative of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The system of study at FME was introduced by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs.
The main part of the ceremony was the taking of the student oath: "I promise to properly fulfill all the obligations that arise from my studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. I promise to behave both on and off campus in a way that does not damage the reputation of the Faculty and the whole University." We wish more than 900 new students a successful study and a lot of new friends and experiences. Enjoy your student life!
