The ranks of graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have expanded in the last academic year by 494 bachelors and bachelors and 504 engineers. We would like to warmly congratulate all our graduates on the successful completion of their studies, wish them good luck and success in their professional and personal lives and thank them for choosing the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for their studies.
We had the opportunity to meet the graduates during the July graduation ceremonies, which were held directly at the faculty in the Q auditorium. In front of their parents, friends and acquaintances, they received their diplomas and took their solemn vows.
Special awards were also presented for outstanding academic achievements or final theses: the Rector's Award, the Dean's Award and the Industrial Enterprise Award. An overview of the Rector's Awards and Dean's Awards can be found here.
Two alumnae were also nominated for special awards:
-
The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Award for Outstanding Students and Graduates in a Degree Program and for Outstanding Student Achievement
Ing. Kristýna Davídková, study programme: Physical Engineering and Nanotechnology -
Josef Hlávka Award for the best students and graduates of universities
Ing. Tereza Zemánková, study programme: Physical Engineering and Nanotechnology
We will meet most of the fresh bachelors and bachelors again at the faculty from September in the follow-up master's programme.
We wish it to be no less successful. Engineers with the skills and knowledge acquired at FME are now entering the job market. We believe that the technical education they have received will serve as a solid foundation for building a successful career. We also believe they will remain connected to their alma mater. We look forward to seeing them again.
