In the competitive showcase of the best bachelor theses 8 from BUT, in which eight selected students from all faculties of BUT presented their bachelor theses that were created in the past academic year, Olga Kuttelwascherová from the Faculty of Civil Engineering won the first place for her bachelor thesis entitled Steel Construction of a Heliport. The second place went to Pavla Formánková from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Pavla Formánková entered the competition with her bachelor thesis on the Influence of toothpaste abrasiveness on friction and wear of dental fillings. We have written about Pavla and her interesting research in the past here. The third place in the competition went to Simona Jonášová from the Faculty of Chemistry with her bachelor thesis on the Study of the Quality of Surface Water in the Ivančice area.
