On Monday, 28 November 2022, President of the Republic Miloš Zeman signed the appointment decrees of professors of universities on the proposals of the scientific and artistic councils of universities. The five academics come from Brno University of Technology. They can newly use the title of professor:

• Miroslav Černý (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics)
• Adriána Kovalčík (Faculty of Chemical Engineering, branch of Macromolecular Chemistry)
• David Lehký (Faculty of Civil Engineering, major Construction and Transportation Engineering)
• Martin Vala (Faculty of Chemistry, major Chemistry, Technology and Properties of Materials)
• Martin Vrbka (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, major Construction and Process Engineering)
