Students from the Chicken Wings team scored another success. They flew to second place at the New Flying Competition 2022 in Hamburg, Germany in September. In the international competition, they won the silver medal with the ORCA model they built especially for this competition.

The ORCA combines a classic aircraft with some of the operational capabilities of a quadcopter. The students also tried for the first time to build an aircraft capable of autonomous flight. We wrote more about the team here.
