Just before the start of the winter semester, matriculation ceremonies were held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the BUT on Friday 16 September. In a ceremonial act, students were formally admitted as members of the academic community. The main part of the ceremony was the taking of the student oath.

The assembly took place in the newly renovated faculty auditorium Q and included speeches by the faculty leadership – the dean, vice-dean and a representative of the FSI Academic Senate. The Vice-Dean for Student Affairs introduced the system of studies at FME to the new engineers.
