This paper deals with an asymptotic investigation of the exact and numerical solution of a linear differential equation with a power delay. A special attention is paid to the trapezoidal rule discretization and comparisons with the qualitative behaviour of the exact solution.

Článek se zabývá asymptotickým vyšetřováním přesného a numerického řešení lineární diferenciální rovnice s mocninným zpožděním. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována diskretizaci pomocí lichoběžníkového pravidla, a jejím srovnáním s kvalitativním chováním přesného řešení.
