The article describes the influence of the time waveform of the arc plasma temperature field fed by an AC current in the course of one period onto temperature changes in its vicinity by the optical holographic interference method. The interference record of the structure was transferred via a recording medium into the computer for processing and determination of the temperature in an arbitrary section, executed perpendicularly to the arc axis.
