In the first part of the paper results obtained by solving the model problem describing the torsion of a bar applied to the random medium are compared with the periodic ones. The second aim is to present four algorithms generating samples of random structures of a two-component fibre composite material similar to the real one.

V první části článku jsou srovnány výsledky řešení modelové úlohy popisující torzi tyče s náhodnou strukturou s výsledky torze tyče s periodickou strukturou. Druhým cílem je úvést čtyři algoritmy generující vzorky náhodných struktur dvou komponentového vláknového kompozita, které jsou podobné reálným materiálům.
