In the working conditions of the jet engine gass turbines of supersonic planes the blades are loaded by the cycles which vary in time, temperature and stress. The blades are exposed to the influence of degradable processes namely of the high-temperature corrosion, fatigue processes and creep. As the result of short overloading as it happens for instance during the starts and landing, eventually in some other iregularities of the jet engine function (for inst. pumpage or forsage), the increase of stress and temperature leads to the changes of microstructure and properties. The acceleration of diffusion processes leads to a localized solution and re-precipitation of strenhthening phases. The dendritic segregation (coring) of elements, which is the characteristic feature of cast blades structure, is then gradually smoothed. The presented work is aimed at the study of the low-cycle fatigue of the Inconel 713 LC cast nickel superalloy at temperatures 23, 500. 700, and 800 C. On the base of the fatigue behaviour in low-cycle area the lifetime curves of the superalloy were plotted. The morphology of phases existing in the superalloy and structural changes occuring during the low-cycle fatigue loading were described by means of the light and electron microscopy observations. For the description of the mechanism of the low-cycle fatigue damaging of the superalloy the microfractographic analysis was used.
