Originální abstrakt

This paper deals with an alternative for supplying wireless sensors with energy in aeronautic applications. It shows that ambient energy can be a suitable source for the electrical energy of several wireless sensors with an expected power consumption of several mW. Mechanical vibrations of a helicopter are used as a source for an energy harvesting devices, where electrical power is generated by use of a vibration power generator. The generator feeds embedded wireless sensor without or as a supplement to the use of primary battery in some aeronautics applications. The generator is a maintenance-free device and it extends the lifetime of the wireless sensor in case that the generator and the wireless sensor are placed in an environment which is excited by sufficient vibration during the flight operation of the helicopter.
