For the operation of heavy commercial vehicles, legal standards are constantly being tightened, which applies not only to exhaust emissions, but also to vibration and noise. The research will therefore focus on the identification and quantification of individual noise sources and finding the means to reduce them so that the vehicle meets with reserve the current and planned noise limits set by the methodology according to current and future standards.
