Originální abstrakt

The article presented deals with the problems of pathologically developed hip joints, which are solved by a suitable osteotomy (e.g. Chiari osteotomy). The aim of the work is to create a finite element model of the hip joint for the following states: physiological, pathological, and the state after reconstruction of geometry of the joint (osteotomy). Strain and stress analyses will be performed on these finite element models. The results of analyses should contribute to verification of the osteotomy carried out, and to the selection of suitable osteotomy for different types of joint damage.
