Originální abstrakt
Buckling and post-buckling mean the serious problem in various mechanical engineering branches, i.e. aircraft design. Analytical computations based on verified simplifying assumptions correlated with experimentally determined limit loads is still the basic approach to thin-walled load-carrying parts of machines design. Shape complexity, statically indeterminateness and missing experimental data introduce heavy difficulties into previously mentioned approach. Finite element method (FEM) is powerful tool resolving both shape complexity and statically indeterminateness of structures.
Český abstrakt
Řešení stabilitních problémů je důležitou oblastí analýzy konstrukcí v mnoha inženýrských oborech, jako je letecký průmysl, stavební konstrukce, chemický průmysl a další. Jejich zastoupení ve výuce strojních inženýrů je dosud malé. Předložený příspěvek je snahou tento nedostatek odstranit.
