You will learn to use the methods of contemporary physics to solve problems in the field of applied optics, surface physics, nanostructures and micromechanics of materials. During the research you will use the most modern equipment of the Central European Institute of Technology in Brno (CEITEC). And, of course, you have a long-term stay at a foreign university or institution, for example at TU Wien, Weizmann Institute, nanoGune San Sebastian, University of Stuttgart or ETH Zurich. And you will participate in cooperation with leading high-tech companies, not only in the Czech Republic.

Upon completion of your studies, you will be prepared for scientific research activities in research institutions or universities. You can take high positions in high-tech companies or in teams that deal with the development of new products within the modern trend of parallel engineering.
